Bag in box – or as it is more commonly known, the “goon sack” – is one of the Riverlands most famous inventions, and we’ve decided it is time we did it the DLQ way. So, “High Crimes” is our limited edition box wine – 1.5 litres of premium quality DLQ wine, brought to you in the easily transportable, completely recyclable and environmentally friendly bag in box format.
And when we say limited edition, we mean it – the wines that make it into the box are super small production, distinctly separate to the other Delinquente and Hell wines, but sharing the same origin and ethos.
Iberian varieties can bear the same hardy, heat tolerant and drought resistant characteristics as their Southern Italian cousins, with a small but eclectic range finding a home on the Bassham organic vineyard in the Riverland. Our Portuguese White Blend is equal parts Albarino, Fernao Pires and Arinto, the latter fermented on skins for 14 days. Creamy on the palate, with bombastic tropical fruit and crunchy acidity, the skin fermented Arinto stars, giving a rustic, savoury inflection and beautiful length to the wine." - Delinquente
